World No. 1 in doubles has triumphed at the Premier tournament in Sydney together with the Serbian Aleksandra Krunic. The players have not lost a single set throughout the entire tournament and defeated the pair of Eri Hozumi (Japan) and Alicia Rosolska (Poland) in the decisive match: 6-1 7-6(3). It is Katerina’s fifth doubles title in her career. Next week Katerina Siniakova will pair with her fellow countrywoman Barbora Krejcikova to become the No. 1 seeds at the first Grand Slam tournament of the season – Australian Open.
